Five-unit Cabo Flats, which specializes in Mexican cuisine, is among the young chains bringing new life to casual dining, even as the stalwarts of the segment are undergoing a renaissance of their own.
The à la carte brunch menu includes huevos rancheros, Challah French toast topped with dulce de leche, a breakfast burger, The Cabo Cure breakfast skillet and a dish called Eggs on a Horse (two poached eggs served on corn bread topped with avocado and spicy Hollandaise).
